Whether the Weather is... good or bad

Weather is one of the factors that could slow down construction.

With our line of work, no matter how badly we want to finish the job it is always a drawback if weather is not on your side. And here in Maine where weather changes every 5 minutes, the unpredictability of the season dictates the outcome of our job. But it doesn't necessarily mean that when the weather is not good... our job is too.

The quality of job remains the same whether the weather is good or bad. The quality of our work remains high, efficient and reliable. And the quality of our experience still drives us to build even in this tough economy.

From useless Porch to Hot Spot

Having a hot tub right next to your bedroom or the kitchen is a welcome retreat from a hard day's work.

This is one of the addition we made this month for a farmer who works so hard in his farm the whole day braving a hat day under the fiery sun and dusty ground.

The new addition was a former screened porch that was used only for keeping their stuff what they no longer use or need. In other words... it was a useless room. And since it is useless we remodelled the old porch and turned it into something usefull.

The new addition is now a new room where they entertain friends and guests.

Only dog houses have no windows.

Windows are not just an essential component of a house but a functional part of it. If it has no function, we will not build any windows at all. What’s the point? It is easier to build walls without thinking about a hole that should have a perfect measurement. Making the perfect hole make the job harder if not slower.

Windows give the house an aesthetic appeal on the building. That is why, there are different designs, shapes, colors and sizes that you can choose from.

Windows provide a very important function for the house – ventilation. Nobody wants to get suffocated and die breathless… quite literally.

And windows offers a natural light to the house that is not just relevant but practical. And just like the roof, the house will not be a house without this essential part of it.
